Leopards Updated Finder

In Tiger when you went into the finder you could preview movie clips without opening it, well now that functionality is still implemented but some functionality has been taken away so we thought. Well let me fill you in the functionality we thought was gone is the capability to go forward in and backward in the movie clip well hitting the space bar will open a larger box which has all the functionality of tiger preview but a lot better!    

 

I can’t forget about cover flow well it looks cool but is it practical i never use it might just be a matter of opinion but i don’t think there any point. Well if you do use it then hitting the space bar when you have a document, folder or even a program it will preview it. That also goes for any other one in any view hit the space bar and it previews it.

Quick Tip (Internet Explorer Download)

I got an e-mail asking, I got a mac recently and i want to use internet explorer  but i can’t find where to download it got any suggestions? — Well Internet Explorer was discontinued. So I recommend Mozilla Firefox and you can also download a theme to make Mozilla Firefox look the same as Internet Explorer. But if you wan’t to use Internet Explorer then you can get an OLD version at    -

Quick Tip (Screen Capture)

I got an E-mail asking what is a good SIMPLE screen capture utility for mac os 10.5 leopard. Leopard and Tiger has a built in screen capture utillity. Hit Command , Shift, 4 and crosshairs show up instead of the pointer press and hold your primary mouse key and drag the cross hairs around the item you wan’t to cature depress the key and the screen shot will show up as “picture 1, 2, 3, 4 ext.”
