Leopard finally here although i got a late start on this review. Before i start i’d like to that my review is based on a brand new MacBook that came with leopard installed so my review may not be the same as if i formated the hard drive and installed Leopard. Well to start off Leopard has some very noticeable changes the top menu bar is clear, and the dock has a 3D effect and a reflection effect to it, when you put the dock on the left or right it turns to a blue opaque color. Some of the others include expose and spaces. Expose is great to allow you see the desktop when you have multiple windows open, and Spaces will allow you to flick trough 2 – 16 different desktops by using the default shortcut ” Command, Up – Down – Left – Right ” and the top menu bar via a drop down menu. In the finder there’s cover flow like in itunes, speaking of the finder there’s a new one the biggest change is it’s more organized.
Let’s talk a little more about the dock, there’s a new feature that is called “stacks”, now in the dock when you drag and drop a folder into it it allows you to click on it obviously but when you do so it pops up in a blue opaque window and when the contents of the folder is low it opens in a stack.
